Young Akwa United F.C. goalkeeper Aloysius ThankGod has received his first-ever invitation to the Nigeria U20 national football team ahead of the upcoming WAFU B U20 Championship scheduled to take place in Côte d’Ivoire in July 2026.
The talented shot-stopper was included in the provisional 35-man squad and is expected to report to camp on Saturday, May 16, marking a major milestone in his young football career.
