NNL Super 8: Osho commends 3SC despite thumping victory

Head coach of Remo Stars, Fatai Osho has commended 3SC despite his side’s 3-0 victory at the Enyimba International Stadium on Sunday.

 

Edoka Owoicho, Awoyemi Abiodun and Olufemi Oladapo all scored to give the Sky Blue Stars the three points in their first game in the ongoing Nigeria National League (9jaNNL) Super 8 competition in Aba.

 

Speaking to journalists immediately after the game, the former Crown FC and Kogi United gaffer said, “A lot of commendation should be given to the 3SC team, they have one of the best team in this tournament but the tactical discipline in this particular match gave us the victory against them.”

 

“It doesn’t take anything away from 3SC, they are a formidable team and I see them progressing in this tournament.”

 

On Remo Stars FC willing to be crowned champions of the 2017/2018 NNL, “Definitely, that’s why we are here, during the run of the season, we did a wonderful job and our coming here means we have to compliment it by gaining the ticket and to be the eventual winner. We believe we have what it takes to be there.”

 

“In terms of opposition we are facing, the Southern conference has one of the best team in the whole of NNL and in terms of challenges, it’s been so tough and it makes us ready for the competition.”

 

On the game against Bendel Insurance tomorrow (Monday), “I watched their game today (Sunday), they are also a formidable side and for us to get any result against them, we must give them their deserved respect and I think that would just guarantee our success and I want a whole lot of people to come out to watch the game tomorrow (Monday).”
