NNL Super-4: MatchDay Three Fixtures To Start Simultaneously At 3pm, As Organisers Promise Excitement Galore

Both games on the last day of action at this year’s Nigerian National League (NNL) Super-4 will kick-off simultaneously at 3pm, as organisers move to avoid any instance of accord among the quartet of competing teams.

Sports247 gathered that, while the potentially explosive Eko Derby between top-of-the-table Sporting Lagos FC and second placed Inter Lagos FC will hold in the mainbowl of Remo Stars Stadium, Ikenne, Ogun State, Doma United of Gombe (who are third) will face Ranchers Bees of Kaduna in the complex’s smaller arena.

Sporting Lagos, with three points and +5 goals difference, look well poised to emerge champions, as their local rivals will need six goals to upstage them, since they currently have three points and only +1 advantage.

Incidentally, despite losing 4-0 to Sporting Lagos on Wednesday, Doma United (with three points and -3 difference) can still pull the chestnut out of the fire by defeating already eliminate challenges challenges Ranchers Bees heavily on Friday – but they need Inter Lagos to also win by a large margin.

“We have finalised plans for the final day of matches at the Super-4 in Ikenne on Friday. The two matches will start simultaneously at 3pm.

“We want to avoid any case of match fixing or accords by some of the teams. We also want to ensure that everything will end in a free and fair manner on Friday.

“There is a plan to get a music star to perform live and the closing ceremony will be exciting, with presentation of various awards and medals.

“We also expect the NFF president to be there this time. He was not at the opening ceremony because he recently returned from the FIFA Congress, but he was ably represented by a member of the executive committee,” Alanana disclosed.

Sports247 gathered further that a raffle draw willl take place at half time for lucky fans; while the winning team will go home with N10m prize money for emerging NNL’s overall champion for 2026.
