Enugu Rangers’ free scoring attacker, Godwin Aguda has expressed confidence in the abilities of the team to go all the way and win the ongoing CAF Confederation cup.
In an exclusive chat with sports247.ng, Aguda, who is the leading scorer in the competition with five goals hinged his confidence on the quality of the players in the team, and of course, the support and encouragement they are receiving from the team’s management and the state’s government.
” We are determined to repay the supporters, the management and the government for all the good things they have been doing for this team. And going all the way to win the competition is the only thing to do,” the highly rated player stated.
On the confederation cup group stage game slated to hold tomorrow in Enugu, against Salitas FC of Mali, Aguda stated his team’s readiness to claim the three points.
” It is important we win our first group game as this would go a long way to help our aspirations to become champions at the end of the day,” Aguda stressed.
