The executive committee of Ayobo Youth Sport Association has announced the official commencement of registration for this year’s edition of their highly popular grassroots football competition known as FASCO Cup.
Sports247 gathered that what has now been tagged FASCO Cup 2026, in conjunction with Kogbagidi Herbal Medicine, is powered by several political leaders in the area, among whom is Honourable Lukman Agbaje, the executive chairman of Ayobo-Ipaja Local Community Development Association (LCDA).
Also powering the competition is Honourable Faruk Adebayo, leader of Ayobo-Ipaja LCDA, while corporate bodies supporting the competition include Fasco Bakery, Racelux Paints and Ayobo All Stars.
Coordinator of the competition, Oyerunji Suliemon stated in press release to herald this year’s contest, “One of the biggest grassroots football competitions at Alimosho axis of Lagos, Ayobo Ipaja to be precise, Fasco Cup 2026 registration is on.
“A total of 32 solid teams will take part in this competition, with so many prices to be won. The winner will also go home with N1m.”
