Alimosho League: Sammy FC Coach Worries Over Team’s Poor Performance …As Flying Wings FC Welcomes Newtown FC

Head Coach of Sammy Football Club of Ejigbo, Samuel Haruna has expressed worry over his team’s poor run in the ongoing Alimosho Football Coaches League.

Sammy FC lost 0-1 to Kedge Sports FC at the home match which put the coach under pressure after a 3-0 defeat to Future Stars FC in week one of the league.

Haruna said having lost two matches in a row is giving him a serious headache saying that he needs to work on the team if they want to progress in the league.

“It was not a good match for us at all because we have lost two matches in a row. I thought we would get a point in today’s match but unfortunately, we conceded a goal at the last minute of the match which was very painful,” he said.

Kedge Sports coach, Noah Omotunde said the match was tough but thanked God that his team won the encounter.

Odu Ridwan’s goal in the 88th minutes gave Sports Kedge FC a hard victory over their opponents.

Action resumes today, Flying Wings FC welcomes Newtown FC, while Peculiar FC would be away against Future Stars at Igando football playground.

On Friday, IBMA faces Tailgate FC. On Sunday action resumes when Salamson FC takes on IGU as Samjason FC tackle NISSI at Egan football pitch the same day.
