Noni Madueke Could Become Next Teammate Of Ademola Lookman At Atletico Madrid

Arsenal of England’s Nigerian-born winger, Noni Madueke could be on his way to joining Ademola Lookman at Atletico Madrid of Spain, following reports of a likely loan agreement that is currently unfolding between both clubs, Sports247 gathered.

With Madueke still struggling to find his footing at Emirates Stadium, where he is incidentally competing for a starting shirt with another Nigerian-born winger, Bukayo Saka, the former Chelsea ace might be swayed into accepting a loan exit soon.

In the event of the 24-year-old Madueke agreeing to leave The Gunners on loan, he could be on his way to emerging as a new teammate of Lookman in Madrid, but that depends on whether Atletico agree to be part of the deal, which also has Juventus of Italy in the mix.

A report by Caught Offside adds, “Noni Madueke is reportedly a loan target for European giants, Juventus and Atletico Madrid. Madueke joined Arsenal from London rivals, Chelsea, last summer for a reported £52m fee, but he has struggled at the Emirates.

“With only eight goals and three assists in his 47 games, the England international has played just 23 Premier League minutes so far this season, but Juventus and Atletico Madrid are willing to offer him a chance to star.

“Mikel Arteta isn’t actively looking to get rid of Madueke, but continued lack of action could force his hand, while a loan move would include options to buy should he be a success at whichever club he joins.”
