Super Eagles striker Kelechi Iheanacho has been named the best player of the first eight rounds of the Turkish TFF 1. Lig by beIN SPORTS.
Iheanacho was picked as the standout player during the beIN 1. Lig programme, following his impressive start to the season with Bursaspor.

The 29-year-old has scored 11 goals and provided two assists in eight matches, making him one of the key players in Bursaspor’s strong start to the campaign.
Bursaspor were also named the best team of the opening eight rounds after recording six wins, one draw and one defeat. The results have earned them 19 points and placed them second in the table, behind Kayserispor on goal difference.
Iheanacho joined Bursaspor as a free agent after leaving Scottish Premiership club Celtic and has quickly made an impact at his new club.
His goalscoring form has also drew the attention of Super Eagles coach Eric Chelle.
The Malian coach has recalled Iheanacho to the national team for the upcoming friendly against Russia on October 6.
The striker will now hope to continue his fine form for both club and country as he looks to build on his impressive start to the season.
