The EuroMatch Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) will witness a busy midweek schedule on Wednesday, September 30, as four rescheduled Matchday 2 fixtures take centre stage across the country.
With the league season gathering momentum, attention will be on several clubs looking to make up for lost ground, including struggling Enyimba FC, who will welcome Shooting Stars after finally securing their first point of the campaign.
Enyimba ended their difficult run on Matchday 6 with a goalless draw against Kano Pillars at the Sani Abacha Stadium, Kano. The result offered some relief to the People’s Elephant, but they will now face another demanding test when Shooting Stars arrive.
The Ibadan-based side will be looking to make the most of the fixture as both teams seek valuable points.
In Warri, defending champions Rangers International will travel to face Warri Wolves in another intriguing encounter.
Rangers suffered a disappointing 2–0 defeat to Ikorodu City in their most recent league outing and will be hoping for a strong response against Warri Wolves. The defending champions will be under pressure to rediscover their winning form as the season progresses.
There will also be a Lagos derby as Sporting Lagos host Ikorodu City in what promises to be a keenly contested encounter.

The fourth rescheduled encounter will see Katsina United welcome Rivers United.
Rivers United will arrive after being held to a goalless draw by Ranchers Bees in Kano in the final Matchday 6 fixture. Katsina United, meanwhile, recorded a 2–1 victory over Doma United and will be looking to build on that result at home.
