The summer transfer of Nigerian-born maverick winger, Karim Adeyemi to FC Barcelona of Spain will fetch his immediate past club, Borrusia Dortmund of Germany a whopping €22m and the team’s chief executive officer, Lars Ricken said they have no regrets for allowing him leave.

Sports247 reports that, rather than feeel betrayed by Adeyemi’s insistence on leaving, even when a top shot at Barca delayed the original date of his formal signing, Ricken stressed that Dortmund have no misgivings about his departure.
The declaration came hot on the heels of reports that Adeyemi had eventually officially joined Barcelona on a contract that will run with The Catalans until 2031, from which Dortmund will receive a transfer fee of €22m (£18.8m).
Additional information out of Camp Nou indicates that the fee could rise to €31m (£26.4m) with bonuses, while Dortmnmund are also set to benefit from any potential future sale of the feather-haired winger-cum-midfielder, whose basic annual salary at his new base will be €6m (£5m).
“Karim has been an important part of Borussia Dortmund over the past four years. When Karim approached us with his wish to move to FC Barcelona, we agreed to it after weighing all the interests of Borussia Dortmund,” Ricken expatiated, as he celebrated the 24-year-old Nigerian-born star.
