3SC Resumes Training Monday

In preparation for the 2018/19 season of the Nigerian National League (NNL), Oyo state darling team, Shooting Stars Sports Club (3SC) will resume training on Monday, January 14, 2019.

Team Manager of the club, Dimeji Lawal who confirmed this development, revealed that the team decided to swing into action in order to be in good shape ahead of the commencement of the NNL, tentatively billed to begin on January 19.

Coming on the heels of the just concluded NNL Super 8 contest held in Aba, all the players of the club are expected to show up at the Lekan Salami Stadium, Adamasingba.

The Oluyole Warriors narrowly missed promotion to the Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL), despite putting up a gallant effort in the play off in Aba.
Kabongo, as Dimeij Lawal is popularly called, explained that the commencement of preparations for the incoming season will involve both old and new players of the club.

“We are so sad that we missed promotion to the elite league in the just concluded season but we have made up our minds to give it all it takes to achieve that in the incoming season.

“Our fans would expect nothing but the ticket to the premier league this time around, that is why we don’t want to take anything for granted to appease our teeming fans and to actualise our dream,” said the former Golden Eaglets, Flying Eagles and Super Eagles wing wizard.
