Just before we can recover from the excitement of Tiwa Savage’s sold-out pop-up in London, Wizkid hits us with news of a collaboration with Nike Sports for a new Starboy Collection.
Musicians and fashion go hand-in-hand and we know worldwide sensation, Wizkid, is one the very fashionable ones. Barely two weeks after Wizkid was spotted at his very successful pop-up tour merchandise sale in New York, he is spotted in some new fashionable numbers from his new collection.
This new sporty collection is inspired by the unique Super Eagles collection which was designed by Nike and was such a success in sales that it sold out the week it was released. The campaign featured the popstar himself.
Fast forward to months later, Wizkid has announced he has teamed up with the sports brand to design a fashionable jersey collection called “Starboy”. This deal will make Wizkid the first African artiste to have his own official jersey.
