“Win the Trophy for the State” – Etu Moses Tells Warri Wolves U-15 Team Ahead of NPFL/La Liga Future Tournament Kickoff

Players of the Under-15 team of Warri Wolves have been charged to win the 2020/2021 Nigeria Professional Football League, NPFL/La Liga Future Tournament.

The chief executive officer of the club, Etu Moses, gave on Tuesday, April 13, 2021, while addressing the team.

Etu noted that the notification for the tournament came within a very short time from the League Management Company, LMC, but added that the Seasiders had already had their Under-15 team on the ground since last season.

“You’ve been picked to represent this state through this team and you should seize this moment to write your name in gold,” Etu said emphatically.

“It’s a great honor. And I want to plead with you that you should give your best.”

“And that your best is that the trophy must be won by you in Enugu.”

“The Chairman of the Delta State Sports Commission, DSSC, Chief Tonobok Okowa, has approved your budget for this competition. All your allowances and bonuses will be paid accordingly. You know he loves youths. So, encourage yourself and smile in the long run.”

He urged the players not to be scared of their peers at the tournament, demanding them to be of good character at all times as worthy ambassadors of the state.

Former club captain and legend, Uche Ossai will lead the technical crew at the NPFL/La Liga U-15 Future Tournament.

The age-grade competition will be held in Enugu from April 14 to May 2, 2021.
