Spokeperson of Nigeria Football Federation, Ademola Olajiire on Monday has assured sports loving Nigerians that the Eagles would prepare very well for the next edition of African Cup of nation billed to hold in Egypt later this year, sports247.ng reports.
Olajiire said this in an exclusive Interview with Ghana Kumasi Base Station Ashh 101.1FM and he said:
“Nigeria might be tagged as favorites at the Afcon in Egypt but we don’t see it as such…Nigeria will prepare very well for the tournament and be ready for any Country we meet”.
“Ghana is a tough team with great players so they can cause a surprise in Egypt”
According to Ademola Olajire on Ashh FM, the Friendly game between Ghana and Nigeria has been canceled and we are very disappointed because we thought Ghana was going to be the toughest opponent to help Nigeria prepare our team for the Afcon 2019.
The GFA wrote to us hours ago for the cancellation of the friendly game because there have been changes in their training program.
