Volleyball: Nigeria Customs, NSCDC battle for Premier League titles

Nigeria Customs Service (NCS) and Nigeria Security and Civil Defense Corp (NSCDC) will on Saturday battle for the title of the Nigeria Volleyball Premier League in the male and female categories respectively.

 

The finals will take place at the indoor sports hall of the National Stadium Package B in Abuja.

NCS and NSCDC both have 12 points in the male category while NCS and NSCDC both have 15 points in the female category.

Coach of Nigeria Customs Service (NCS), Femi Akanni said his teams are ready to shock the NSCDC teams.

He further said his players will take their chances are they come.

He said, “The NSCDC sides are very good but we will capitalize on their weakness”.

Meanwhile, the assistant coach of Nigeria Security and Civil Defense Corp, Dennis Eleri revealed that the Customs teams pose no threat to them.

Eleri noted that the finals are going to be a do or die affairs between both team.

Nigeria Immigrations v NSCDC 1-3 (13-25, 25-20, 23-25, 9-25)

Nigeria Police Force v Plateau Rocks 3-0 (26-24, 25-22, 26-24)

Nigeria Customs v Kada Emeralds 3-0 (25-21, 25-16, 25-19)

Female:

Nigeria Army v NSCDC 0-3 (16-25, 18-25, 21-25)

Benue Queens v Delta Force 3-1 (26-24, 19-25, 25-22, 25-20)

Nigeria Immigrations v Kada Emeralds 3-0(25-12, 25-12, 25-16)
