“They Were Like People On Drugs,” Bayelsa Queens Coach, Moses Aduku Praised The Performance of Opponents, Edo Queens

Top of the table Bayelsa Queens were able to pick maximum points off Edo Queens courtesy two goals from striker Monday Gift, to take them even closer to the title.

Edo Queens were without a win and a goal in the tournament but got their first goal courtesy of Esther Oyenezide who scored to put them level before Monday Gift added a second for Bayelsa.

“I’m grateful for the victory but it was a very very difficult game,” Bayelsa Queens coach Moses Aduku told Sports247.

“The Edo games were like people that took drugs. They were coming while we were trying to contain them. This was one of our most difficult games,” he said.

Asked if he was expecting a sure performance coach Moses replied, “not at all”. “Honestly, what I saw, it was like a cup final,” he added.

“The higher you go, the more difficult it becomes. Delta Queens would not be a pushover and fatigue also begins to set in from the fourth game,” Moses added as they prepare for the next game.
