As the date for the Springsoca trials gets closer, the management of the club has said preparations are in full gear and they are almost ready to go.
Director of the club, Emmanuel Oladapo said in an interview with sports247, “preparations are in top gear, we’ve got the venue, the kits for the players and we have inspected the pitch to see what it’s like and know what preparations to add.”
The director was keen to add that irrespective of the number of players that register, the trial is going to go on as planned and people are advised to make their payments to the bank and not cash to anyone.
“Basically we want to achieve two things with the trial, we want to recruit new players and we want it to be like a marketing strategy for us to be able to reach out to potential kids who can sign up with us,” he said.
The trial is open to U19 players and is set to hold on February 1st, 2021 at Digital Bridge Institute, Cappa, Oshodi-Lagos. The athletes are required to pay the sum of five thousand naira (5,000) to the club’s account which will cover their feeding, kits which they will use and keep and other logistics for the day.
