Interestingly, Ikorodu City were also initially in contention for the title until they lost steam along the way, but they will also be eager for victory in order to pick the NPFL’s CAF Confederation Cup ticket.
Furthermore, while The Oga Boys are no longer in contention for the title, they have pride to play for, as well as a part of history that could see them recalled forever as the team that stopped Rangers from winning the NPFL title in 2026.
