The likelihood of Galatasaray of Turkey striker, Victor Osimhen making a move to Juventus of Italy this summer could cost the Turkish Super Lig club a ‘penalty fee’ of €70m in damages, Sports247 gathered.
This comes via startling information from The Land of The Azurri that officials at Osimhen’s former club, SSC Napoli had included in the striker’s transfer to Gala an agreement that barred him from returning to Italy until 2027.

Incidentally, Osimhen showed so much love for Juventus by refusing to celebrate after scoring against them on Wednesday night in the UEFA Champions League, thereby raising speculation about renewed transfer interest from the Serie A side.
As it were, Juve are currently being coached by Luciano Spalletti, who was in charge at Napoli three seasons ago when Osimhen top scored for them in winning their first Serie A title after 35 years.
Osimhen’s love for The Old Lady of Turin and their gaffer could now turn out to be costly, should he decide to force a transfer deal from Galatasaray, where he showed obvious displeasure for their poor show on Wednesday.
A report by popular Italian publication, La Gazzetta dello Sport revealed, “Napoli reportedly made sure to include a staggering ‘anti-Juve’ clause in the deal that took striker Victor Osimhen to Galatasaray last summer.
“The 27-year-old joined Galatasaray on a permanent basis last summer following an incredibly successful loan with the Turkish giants.
“Should Galatasaray sell Osimhen to any Italian club, they would be forced to pay Napoli an additional penalty worth a staggering €70m.
“The clause is valid for 24 months, meaning Osimhen isn’t likely to return to Italy until the summer of 2027 at the earliest.”
