In a statement released by the club, the Buccaneers confirmed that the decision followed Ndah’s request for an early release from his contract after extensive and respectful discussions with the club’s management.
The talks centred on the defender’s desire for regular playing time as he moves into the next phase of his career.
Ndah, who joined Orlando Pirates in 2021 at the age of 28, quickly became a key figure in the club’s defence. Renowned for his strong tackling, composure on the ball and consistency, the former Super Eagles defender played a crucial role in stabilising the Pirates’ backline during an important period for the club.
During his time in Soweto, Ndah made over 80 appearances for Orlando Pirates, earning a reputation for discipline, reliability and professionalism.
The club noted that he consistently embodied its core values both on and off the pitch, representing the badge with pride.
Orlando Pirates said they respected Ndah’s wish to seek more game time and commended his open and honest engagement throughout the process, describing the separation as one reached in a spirit of mutual respect.
The club expressed gratitude to the Nigerian defender for his dedication and service and wished him success in the next chapter of his career.
Ndah’s departure brings an end to a productive spell with the Buccaneers, as the experienced centre-back now looks ahead to a new challenge in his professional journey.
