Orbih Makes Vow For Badminton Players’ Welfare

The president of Badminton Federation of Nigeria (BFN), Frank Obrih has issued a vow that adequate welfare and good conditions for players will be part of his priorities in the coming year.

After counting the gains and achievements of his board in the outgoing year, Orbih told sports247.ng that more attention will be given to high levels of comfort for players in 2019.

Orbih also took another look at the recent Governor Wike National Badminton Championship in Port Hacourt and stated that key plans of the BFN next year will be staging competitions and welfare of players.

He said: “Creating competitive platforms for players to showcase their skills will go a long way to help put badminton players in top shape.

“That is why we want to encourage more competitions, rather than just mere training.

“We will also work harder in 2019 to ensure that the welfare, health and comfort of badminton players is taken more seriously.”
