Omeruo: I’m Ready For Return To Domestic Action

CD Leganes of Spain defender, Kenneth Omeruo has declared that he and his teammates at fully ready for the return to domestic action, and says they are good to silence Deportivo Alaves this weekend.

 

 

After lining out for the Super Eagles against South Afirca last Saturday, Omeruo skipped the friendly against Uganda in order to see his wife, who is expecting their first baby, but sports247.ng can report that he is now fully prepared to line out with his club once again.

Omeruo stated as much early Friday, as he declared himself battle ready against Deportivo Alaves and tipped his side to get all three points.

Omeruo has settled down to top form with Leganes, since making his debut against Rayo Vallecano last month, and could get the nod from the gaffer, Mauricio Pellegrino for a pivotal role in defence.

Considering that the club suffered a single defeat since he commenced playing regularly in the heart of their back-four, Omeruo looks good to play again and hopes to make his fifth league start of the campaign.

Omeruo enthused: “The international break is over and focus has to be club football. I’m ready to always play if given the opportunity.”
