NPFL: SPORTS COMMISSIONER APPROVED NIGER TORNADOES INTERIM COACH

The Honorable Commissioner of Niger State Ministry of Sports Development, Honorable Emmanuel Duza Babur had approved the Niger Tornadoes Football Club Interim Coach in person of Hamza Abarah during a combined meeting of the Ministry and Niger Tornadoes club management.

 

Honorable Duza Babur, in a press statement stated that approval had been given to Coach Hamza Abarah as an interim Coach and Head of Technical crew, the Sports Commissioner said he had consulted with Governor Abubakar Sani Bello who have given his nod for the approval.

Honorable Duza Babur explained that the approval is geared towards reinvigorating the team for the task ahead as part of Governor Abubakar Sani Bello’s restoration agenda in sports development, the commissioner confirmed that Coach Hamza Abarah will oversee the club technical crew as an interim head, he further pinpointed the need for the team to work together in order to move the team to away from the relegation zone

It will be recalled that the former head Coach of Niger Tornadoes football club of Minna, Mr Bernard Ogbe tender his resignation letter on the 4th of February 2019 after the club 3-1 defeat against Katsina United in the Nigeria Professional Football League match day 6 fixture and Coach Hamza Abarah had since taken over as the interim head and technical adviser of the club.
