Matchday 26 of the Nigeria Professional Football League delivered thrills across multiple centres on Sunday, February 15, as league leaders Ikorodu City claimed a vital away victory over Enyimba in Aba to strengthen their grip at the summit.

Joseph Arumala’s 29th-minute strike proved decisive at the Enyimba International Stadium, handing Ikorodu City a hard-earned 1–0 win against the nine-time champions.
The result further underlined the Lagos side’s title credentials as the season enters a crucial phase.
Elsewhere in Ilorin, Kwara United and Kano Pillars shared the spoils in a 1–1 draw.
Johnmark Aule fired the hosts ahead in the 10th minute before Luis Dadong struck late to rescue a point for Pillars.
At Ikenne, leaders’ closest challengers Remo Stars were held to a 1–1 draw by Abia Warriors.
Chukwuemeka Obioma opened the scoring for the visitors in the 54th minute, but Samson Olasupo’s late effort ensured a share of the points.
In Yenagoa, Bayelsa United and Bendel Insurance cancelled each other out in a tightly contested goalless draw.
One of the standout games of the weekend came in Ibadan, where Shooting Stars defeated Warri Wolves 4–2.
Goals from Sodiq Ibrahim, Lucky Emmanuel, Desmond Ojietefian and Stephen Amos sealed an emphatic win, while midfielder Ayobami Junior stole the spotlight with three assists — the first player to achieve such a feat this season.
In Enugu, Rangers International FC continued their strong form with a 2–0 victory over Wikki Tourists. Wisdom Ebirim and Godwin Obaje found the net, with Obaje’s strike taking his tally to nine goals for the campaign.
Other results saw Katsina United edge Nasarawa United 1–0 thanks to a late Boubacar Massaly goal, while El-Kanemi Warriors claimed a narrow 1–0 win over Plateau United, with Usman Bulama striking in the 82nd minute.
