The Super Eagles striker played the full 90 minutes, leading the line with energy and presence while creating three goal-scoring chances for his teammates.

Although he didn’t get on the scoresheet, Arokodare’s movement and link-up play caused consistent problems for the Grimsby defence and helped Wolves maintain pressure in the final third.

The decisive moment came in the 60th minute, when Santiago Bueno bundled home from close range to give Wolves the lead, with the goal set up by João Gomes.

Wolves managed the game well after taking the lead, seeing out the contest to book their place in the next round. Arokodare’s tireless display was a reminder of the value he brings beyond goals, offering a physical presence up front and creating space for runners from midfield as Wolves continue their FA Cup journey.
