Ahead of the new Nigeria National League (NNL) season, Shooting Stars Sports Club (3SC) resumed training on Monday with Team Manager, Dimeji Lawal lifting the spirit of the players.
It was a full house at the Lekan Salami Stadium as almost all the players both old and new were. on ground.
At the end of the training, team manager Dimeji Lawal addressed the players where he urged them to put the disappointment of last season behind them and focus on the incoming season.
“I know you are all disappointed over what happened during the Super 8 in Aba, that is gone, I want you to take up this fresh challenge in the NNL by making sure that we get it right this time around.
“All we need to do now is to forget the past, pick ourselves up, correct every area where we got it wrong so that by the end of the incoming season, we can achieve our aim,” added the ex- internationa,l who expressed happiness with the response of the players to Monday’s training.
