In the first half, both teams exhibited high spirits in their pursuit of goal scoring, but neither managed to break the deadlock, leaving the score level at a goalless draw.

As the second half commenced, tension mounted as both home and away goalkeepers thwarted numerous goal-scoring opportunities.

Despite key substitutions made by Madiba FC’s Head Coach, Solomon Bala, the Calabar boys persisted in their goal-scoring efforts, finally finding the back of the net through an own goal in the 85th minute.

However, despite all efforts, the Oshodi Boys found it difficult to force an equalizer, with Rovers FC holding on to their 1-0 lead until the final whistle.

Madiba FC will now return home to regroup and prepare for a stronger performance against Dakkada FC of Uyo on Friday, March 22, 2024, in the Match Day 15 encounter.
