NNL 2020/2021: Crown FC Retains 23 Players

Ahead of the 2020/2021 Nigeria National League season, Crown Football Club Of Ogbomoso, has retained twenty three (23) players from the existing players.

This was made available to the Club Media Officer in a correspondence by the Team Manager of the Ajilete Warriors, Mr Suleiman Monsur .

” Having met with the technical crew headed by Coach Oladunni Oyekale who consulted with his team and duly signed by the Acting General Manager, Mr Kunle Oyeleye, and in proactive measures for positive results towards taking the team to the elite division, I am directed to inform you that twenty three (23) players have been retained . The retained players will be contacted on the activities of the club for the new 2020/2021″, Ojotoro, as the TM is fondly called said.

He used the privilege to appreciate all the dropped players for their commitment and dedication while at Crown FC and prayed for better contracts in their footballing career.

The NNL after playing three to maximum of five matches went on break on 19th December,2019 and did not resume to continue the league til football activities was put on hold because of the deadly Coronavirus Pandemic.

Just recently the Nigeria Football Federation met with all league bodies and formally cancelled the 2019/2020 football season.

It was unianimously agreed that there will neither be any promotion not relegation while September/October was picked for the commencement of the new 2020/2021 football season,subject to approval by the Presidential Task Force on COVID-19.
