Gbagada FC are yet to taste defeat and firmly placed top spot on their group much to the delight of the tactician who believes that they are best placed this season to reach their long awaited destination.

Speaking in his post match assessment with Sports247.ng, Olajide, an obviously elated figure spoke about the game, officiating in the NLO and the team’s ultimate target.

“It’s a good win for us, we have gone four games unbeaten and with this point, we should be top of the table at the end of today’s matches result but it’s not time to celebrate, we need to keep grinding and working hard.”

“We are playing against Iganmu United for the next game and we have our approach, formation and set-up which we want to maintain and hopefully what we do gives us the maximum three points,” he explained ahead of their next crucial league game.

On the standard of officiating in the NLO so far since the season started;

“In four games, the officiating has been fair but there are times that there will be calls that you just don’t understand why the referee won’t see that.”

“Like today, there was a clear handball which is obviously a penalty in favor of my team, If I can see that from the sidelines clearly, I wonder why the referee and the assistant that were close to the action refused to make that call.”

“That makes one get worried but aside that, overall performance from the four games we have played, I would still give them an A,” Olajide allayed.
