Zenith Emperor have now lost all five games they have played in this season while Collins Edwin picked thier second win of the season at the Surulere Legacy Pitch.

In his post match assessment with Sports247.ng, Yunus, obviously an unhappy figure lashed out at the centre referee woeful decisions which has proved costly to his team.

“I don’t have anything to talk about because it’s obvious, we saw what the referee did to us, I have never seen this kind of officiating of football in my entire life, honestly speaking but it is what it is, the damage has been done, it is already done.”

“I have never seen where you will be attacking to score and the next thing is, you call the ball back in your own half and then it’s still for you and not to the opponent, I have never see it before, you should allow the play to go on,” he explained.

“For the penalty, I have never seen anywhere in the world where you pick that as penalty. Fine, the striker was ahead of the player but the player saw the ball and kicked it out.”

“What else do you want this players to do, they are young lads and they aren’t helping matters, the referees are not helping, in Nigerian football, the referees are very far behind, we are not there yet.”

On if he will consider to change the team’s approach in next game after loosing all five games of the season, Yunus adamantly stated that they will maintain thier shape.

“There’s nothing we have to change, we hardly get bookings and you can check for those who follow our team, we are a tiki-taka team and not police machine football.”

“We want to play and entertain Nigerians because the young ones have what it takes to play and it doesn’t really matter how many goals they scored but what we need is, allow the eleven players versus eleven players play, don’t help any team, it’s as simple as that,” he affirmed.
