Collins Edwin FC club captain, Favour Aroyameh is relieved following the nervy 2-1 win against Crime Fighters FC to pick thier first win of the NLO 2022/2023 season as he calls on his player to build on this momentum for subsequent games.

Previously before today, Collins Edwin have lost three games out of the three they had played and they knew how crucial the fourth one was against Crime Fighters who are also searching for thier first win of the season.
Collins Edwin took the lead just moments into the first half from the penalty spot and added another in quick succession to take a 2-0 lead going into the second half although Crime Fighters got a goal in the second half but it was Collins Edwin that got all maximum three points.
In his post match interview with Sports247.ng, Favour visibly happy couldn’t hide his excitement after finally finding a breakthrough.
“It feels so great, for three matches, we been down losing but we kept our heads up high with commitment and finally we got the much desired result.”
“We are not under any pressure of any sort because the management kept giving us courage and believe despite the loses and that’s why we got the result today.”
“In previous games, we were keeping it fancy but today, we came out to play football, we came out to fight and for the next game, we want to do more,” Favour concluded.
Up next for Collins Edwin on matchday five is the game between Zenith Emperor as they look to continue the upward trajectory of form.
