The president of Nigeria Volleyball Federation (NVBF), Engineer Musa Nimrod has revealed that the country will soon have a hall of fame for the celebration and memory of icons of the game.
Nimrod told sports247.ng that the NVBF plans to organise an event to formally introduce the project and reward those who have brought fame and glory to Nigeria through their involvements in the sport.
Nimrod said the event will be for both active and retired volleyball stars and officials, who have achieved in the game over the years.
Nimrod added that the aim of the proposed hall of fame is to take the game of volleyball to a higher level in Nigeria come 2019.
