The Nigeria Football Federation(NFF) are celebrating the rare feat of two Super Falcons stars Rinsola Babajide and Shukurat Oladipo having made history after helping AS Roma Women secure the 2025/26 Serie A Femminile title in emphatic style.
The Giallorosse sealed their third straight Scudetto with a convincing 2–0 win over Ternana Women at the Stadio Tre Fontane, wrapping up the championship with two games remaining.

Italian midfielder Manuela Giugliano proved decisive on the night, scoring both goals to confirm Roma’s dominance and extend their reign at the top of Italian women’s football.
The NFF celebrated Shukurat Oladapo and Rinsola Babalola by posting their wins using the official social media handles on Sunday a few hours after the two players made history capping their significant impact in the all conquering Roma team with championship medal.
The post already generating reactions from Nigerians, congratulating the players on their new feather.
For Nigeria, the achievement carries historic weight. It is the first time two Super Falcons players at the same club have lifted the Italian league title together.
Oladipo delivered a composed and assured display in defence during the title-clinching match, while Babajide—though unused in the decisive fixture—played a vital role across the season with crucial goals and attacking contributions.
Having both joined Roma in 2025, the duo wasted little time making their mark, lifting their first major trophy in Italy during their debut campaign and showcasing their growing influence in European football.
Their league success also crowns a remarkable run of achievements, following their triumph with Nigeria at the Women’s Africa Cup of Nations 2024.
Roma’s title win additionally secures qualification for the UEFA Women’s Champions League, further raising expectations for the club’s continental ambitions.
