Naija Ratels Star Oladeji Oluwabunmi Lands in Turkey, Joins Kayseri Kadın FK

Nigerian women’s footballer Oladeji Oluwabunmi Semilore has completed a major career move to Turkey, joining Karademir Grup Kayseri Kadın Futbol Kulübü from Nigeria Women’s Football League side Naija Ratels FC.

Sports247 reports that the transfer represents a significant step in the career of the talented Nigerian player, who is now set to continue her development in the Turkish women’s football league and compete at a higher level outside Nigeria.

Oladeji’s move was announced with excitement, with the player expressing gratitude to God for the opportunity to begin a new chapter of her football journey abroad.

“We are grateful to God for this opportunity and thankful,” the announcement stated.

The Nigerian’s arrival at Kayseri also creates an interesting Nigerian connection at the Turkish club, as she joins former Remo Stars Ladies defender Blessed Isigbo, who recently completed her own transfer to the team.

Isigbo spent three years with Remo Stars Ladies before securing her move to Turkey, and her presence could provide Oladeji with valuable support as she adapts to a new country, culture and football environment.

Oladeji joins Kayseri after representing Naija Ratels FC in the NWFL, where she gained important experience competing in Nigeria’s top women’s domestic football structure.

Her move is another indication of the increasing opportunities available to Nigerian female footballers outside the country, with players from the NWFL continuing to attract interest from clubs across Europe and other international destinations.

For Kayseri, the arrival of Oladeji adds another Nigerian talent to its ranks as the club looks to strengthen its squad. For the player, the challenge will now be to settle quickly, compete for regular playing time and demonstrate her quality on the Turkish stage.

The move also provides Oladeji with an opportunity to broaden her football experience and further develop her career against a different style of opposition.

With Isigbo already at the club, the pair will hope to establish a strong Nigerian presence at Kayseri and contribute positively to the team’s ambitions.

From Naija Ratels to Turkey, Oladeji’s latest move marks an important milestone in her football journey.

The Nigerian will now be looking forward to making her mark in Turkey and proving once again that the NWFL continues to produce players capable of competing on the international stage.
