Musa-Kida Thanks Private Sector For Women Development

Nigeria Basketball Federation (NBBF) president, Ahmadu Musa-Kida has thanked the private sector for efforts of uplifting the quality of women participation in the sport.

 

 

In a down-to-earth chat with sports247.ng on Wednesday, Musa-Kida that all achievements recorded in women’s basketball in the country for the past 14 years is due to private sector partnership.

While praising Zenith Bank for remaining title sponsor of Nigeria Women’s Basketball Premier League, Musa-Kida called on other corporate bodies in the country follow suit.

“We thank our women league sponsors for standing by us all this while, and we want others to key into the monumental transformation that basketball is undergoing in the country.

“It is true corporate support that the female national team, D’tigress reached the quarter finals against everyone’s expectations in this year’s Women Basketball World Cup in Tenerife, Spain.”
