Moses Simon delivered a tireless and influential performance as Paris FC claimed a vital 1–0 victory over OGC Nice in their French Ligue 1 Matchday 24 encounter at the Stade Sébastien Charléty.
The Nigerian winger was heavily involved in Paris FC’s attacking play, using his pace, close control, and direct running to stretch the Nice defence.
His influence was evident in the build-up to the match-winning goal in the 26th minute. Simon unleashed a powerful effort from outside the box that forced a parry from Nice goalkeeper Maxime Dupe.
The rebound fell kindly to Marshall Munetsi, who reacted quickest to slot home with his left foot and hand Paris FC a deserved lead.
Paris FC grew in confidence after taking the advantage, with Simon continuing to torment the visitors down the flank.
He completed several key dribbles, consistently driving his side forward and creating space for teammates in the final third. His relentless pressing also helped the hosts disrupt Nice’s rhythm in midfield and wide areas.
Nice pushed for an equaliser in the second half, but Paris FC remained disciplined and organised at the back, defending their narrow lead with composure. Simon, who played 80 minutes, contributed defensively as well, tracking back when required and helping his full-back contain Nice’s wide threats.
He finished the game with two created chances and three successful dribbles, underlining his all-round contribution to the victory.
The win represents a significant boost for Paris FC as they continue their push up the Ligue 1 table, while Simon’s performance further highlights his growing importance within the squad.
His energy, creativity, and willingness to take responsibility in key moments proved decisive in a match where fine margins made the difference.
