Moses Set To Take Andre Ayew’s Fernebahce Spot

Ferrnebahce of Turkey winger, Victor Moses is set to take a position in attack for the club this weekend, as the team’s coach is thinking about putting him in the spot currently held by Ghana’s Andre Ayew.

Sports247.ng gathered that The Yellow Canaries’ coach, Ersun Yanal is not satisfied with Ayew’s performances in recent matches, and is now seriously looking for an alternative striker against Medipol Başakşehir.

While Ayew, who is on loan from Swansea City, has scored only once in eleven appearances across all competitions this year, Moses has two goals in five matches, such that Yanal is toying with an idea of deploying the former Super Eagles star in attack this weekend.

However, it would not be the first time Moses would play as a striker, as the 28-year-old star, who is on loan from Chelsea of England, played up front in his early days at Crystal Palace.

Moses, who has also been known to be versatility as a right or left wing-back, right or left winger and playmaker, was converted to play down the flanks by Palace’s youth team coaches.

He is now bound to be deployed as a striker by Fernebahce, as the coach has made it a point to line Moses out in attack for recent drills ahead of the clash with Başakşehir, and Yanal is satisfied with what he has seen.
