Kwara state Football Association chairman, President Malam Idris Musa Abdullahi has sent a message of condolence to a board member of the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF), Yusuf Ahmed Fresh, who also doubles as the chairman of Niger state football association over the death of his elder brother, Alhaji Saleh Yusuf Dawa.
In a statement made available by Spokesman of the FA, Bolaji Lawal, Malam Musa said : “The board of the Kwara FA are saddened by the unfortunate incident which has rock Ahmed Fresh and the entire football family in the country. I am sending my deep sympathies and condolences to my brother Ahmed Fresh over the death of his elder brother who will be remembered for his generosity and kind gesture”
“Our deepest thoughts are with the entire family at this moment, we prayed to Almighty Allah to forgive the deceased his shortcomings and grant his gentle soul Aljannat Firdaus and hope the family will be able to bear the fortitude of the loss”. The statement read
Late Alhaji Yusuf died on Monday at the Ibrahim Badamasi Babangida General Hospital in Minna, after he fought a protracted illness, and had since been buried according to Islamic rites.
