Kogi Football Association to elect new excos on February 19

Kogi Football Association on Friday, January 11 announced that fresh election into the state’s executive board will be held on February 19, 2019.

 

This was confirmed in a statement signed by the state FA’s secretary, Augustine Ogunmola and chairman Umarr Isah, with an election calendar endorsed by the electoral congress.

 

According to the election schedule, purchase of nomination form is scheduled between January 20-30, while February 5 was fixed for submission of completed form.

 

Screening of shortlisted candidates is on February 10, while the election date is billed for 19th of February.

In the same vein, the state FA have set-up an eight-man electoral committee for the next month’s election, which will be chaired by Barrister Ibrahim Shaba.

Ogunmola will serve as secretary of the committee, while Alhaji A.D Ibrahim, Ovakachi Onipe, Olatunji Mamayin, Bayo Ilori, Paul Onuh, Barrister Abbas A. Mauzu are the members.
