Ikorodu City FC goalkeeper Michael Atata and midfielder Remi Adeoye have departed for Russia to join the Super Eagles squad ahead of Nigeria’s international friendly against the Russian national team.

Sports247 reports that the two Ikorodu City players are set to link up with the national team as Nigeria continues preparations for the highly anticipated encounter in Russia.

Ikorodu City confirmed the players’ departure in a message posted across the club’s official social media platforms, celebrating the opportunity for the duo to represent Nigeria at the senior international level.
