Handball Ladies’ Coach Prepares Camp For Saturday

National under-20 female handball team coach, Stella Ndudi is putting finishing touches to arrangements to receive her invitees in camp, as the players are scheduled to resume this Saturday.

 

Sports247.ng can report that Ndudi is excited with the impending return of the youth national team players, as she believes regular camping is a key to better results for the country and more exposure for the stars.

 

Ndudi, who is also the coach of Grasshoppers International of Owerri, will be joined in the national camp by male tactician, John Uzor, who is also the assistant coach of Edo Dynamos of Enugu, while Abdulkadir Yusuf and Esther Lambert will take charge of the cadets female team.

 

Both coaches are already putting heads together on how they can make Nigeria shine at the 2019 IHF Challenge Trophy billed for Niamey, Niger Republic from 25th February to 3rd March.

 

Ndudi was excited after Handball Federation of Nigeria (HFN) confirmed that she and Uzor will handle the under-20 female team ahead of the IHF Challenge, ahead of which 45 junior players are billed to arrive the camp in Abuja on Saturday, February 9th.

 

Ndudi declared: “As far as the game is concerned, our duty is to make sure these athletes harness their hidden potentials.

 

“Players who have been given the opportunity to showcase their talent will be happy to be in camp and to bring handball to its past glory.”
