Fusion Football Championship: ‘We Were Not Calm In Tight Situations,’ Ishola Lateef Demands More From Players After Shared Spoils Against Smart City

Ishola Lateef, head coach of North York FC has demanded that his players needs to do more going forward as he admitted that they were not calm and confident in the draw against Smart City.

They got two penalties but they missed one and scored one as they played out a 1-1 in the Fusion Football Championship at the Surulere Legacy pitch, Sports247.ng reports.

Speaking after the game, Ishola has this to say – “in the last match we played, I told you that we are going to go home and do the technical changes and correction in the team and now, you can see what they are doing.”

“They played like little kids despite all we have done, they are not calm in play and this is a platform for them to market themselves and they are not taking it as they should.”

“We are trying to get in to shape because we want to participate in the ‘super four’, our guys are gradually building up and coming back from injury and that’s a big advantage to us.”
