Former Flying Eagles Captain Joins Bosnian Outfit On A Permanent Deal

Nigerian defender and the former captives of the Nigeria U-20 men’s national team Mohammed Musa has joined Bosnian professional football club FK Sarajevo on a free transfer, Sports247 Nigeria can confirm.

The deal was confirmed on the club’s official website on Tuesday, 29 June, 2022, stating that the former Flying Eagles signed a one contract with FK Sarajevo and will begin preparations for the new season immediately.

Musa began his professional career in Turkiye with İstanbul Başakşehir in 2015 but spent two years on loan with FK Željezničar and Lokomotiv Plovdiv respectively before finally moving away from Başakşehir to join Croatian outfit, HNK Gorica in 2018 where he spent four years and over 100 appearances for the club.

The 25-year-old said in a social media post yesterday that he is excited about the move and he is looking forward to winning more titles with FK Sarajevo.

“So happy to be part of the big big club Sarajevo, looking forward for more titles together,” the post read.
