Football Agent Promises More Help For Grassroots Players

UK-based FA Soccer Intermediary Manager, Mr. Igeola Hassan Nojeem has expressed optimism that he would help more grassroots players who have talents to secure better offer in Europe.

Igeola Hassan Nojeem said this after he secured a European visa to five Nigerian grassroots players who had left the shore of the country on Sunday to Lithuanian club, DAINAVA DFK.

The five players are Biliaminu Nurudeen Abiola, Agunwa Nnamdi Gideon, Abdul -Rasheed Kehinde Ayinde, Abimbola Idowu, and Samuel Ogba Francis.

Nojeem who is the CEO of OHN Consultancy Limited, United Kingdom said he was in Lithuania more than three times to show the video clips of the five players to the management of DAINAVA DFK of Lithuania late last year and they were impressed with the performance of the Nigerian players.

“After Watching the clip of these players they were impressed and satisfied with what they saw. Presently they have granted them one year contract and they will be in Lithuania this week,” he said.

The Mushin-born soccer intermediary manager said “I am the first-ever soccer manager to secured 5 professional contracts in this industry and I am happy that the players we marketed to the Lithuanian club have agreed to sign these Nigerian players,” he said.

According to him, Nigerian grassroots players are gifted and they are ready to give their best when it is mattered most. He said when he watched these five players on video clip; he was convinced that they would be invited to the Lithuanian club.
“Let me use this medium to congratulate these players for this offer to play in the Lithuania league. People may say there is nothing in the Lithuanian league but I think it is the beginning of their professional football career. I wish them the best of luck in their professional career,” he said.
