Exactly One Week After 2020 Jos Chillin National Invitational Came To An End

The maiden edition of the 2020 Jos Chillin National Invitational might have come and gone, but the fun memories it left behind will linger for a very long time as we look forward to the 2021 edition.

Here are some of the things you might have missed out from or some you need to be refreshed on:

• Did you know that the host were so good and so magnanimous to the extent of not only freely accommodating under-13 and under-15 teams from Delta, Abuja, Ekiti and Gombe States, but also gave them three square meals on daily basis and free transport to and from match venues all through out the competition?

• Did you know that Mees Palace Football Academy would have swept all three gold plaited trophies(emerging champions) in all three categories but were denied by Jazzy Stars Football Academy who beat them to the Under-10 podium. The Galaxies as Jazzy Stars FA are fondly called, beat the Blue Panthers as Mees Palace FA are fondly called too at the quarter finals of the Under-10 category to emerge champions.

• Did you know that only Mees Palace FA and Jazzy Stars FA were the only two clubs from Plateau State, the host state, that made it to the semi finals in a tournament that had teams from Abuja, Delta, Ekiti and Gombe States all claiming bragging rights at the semi finals of both the Under-13 and Under-15 categories?

• Did you know that Ahmed Musa of Mees Palace FA won both the highest goal scorers award and the Most Valuable player award at the Under-15 category? Moses Chuwang of Mees Palace FA won the best goalkeeper to cat home the Golden Gloves.

• Soja Samuel of Mees Palace FA won the Most Valuable player at the Under-13 category, Bamisaye Kunle of Ekiti Baby Bees won the highest goal scorer award and Jacob Idoko of Delta Warriors emerge as the best goalkeeper and went home with the Golden Gloves.

• Did you know that Mees Palace FA won both the Under-13 and Under-15 categories of the maiden edition of the National Invitational? While Jazzy Stars FA emerge champions at the Under-10 category?

• Did you know that Jazzy Stars Football Academy won the award as the most discipline team, hence, smiled home with the Fair Play Award?

• Expect almost all the states of the Federation in next year’s Jos Chillin National Invitational!!!
