Arsenal’s Nigerian-born midfielder, Eberechi Eze has received comforting words that he will not be sold by The Gunners at the end of this season, despite his struggles to keep a first team shirt.
Sports247 reports that Eze has found the going tough since his £67.5m summer arrival from Crystal Palace, thereby raising speculation that Arsenal would gladly sell off the England international.

This is in contrast with the buzz that erupted after they beat off London rivals, Tottenham Hotspur in signing Eze last summer, and early signs suggested he would help them end their over 20 years hunt for the EPL title.
Eze provided two assists in his first three games for Arsenal, before notching his first goal against Palace soon after and then struck a hattrick to sink Tottenham 4-1 in the north London derby.
Those heroics came late-November, but in three months since, Eze does not have a single goal or assist and he has crashed down Mikel Arteta’s pecking order, ending up as an unused substitute for four successive league games.
However, in spite of Eze’s dwindling fortunes at Arsenal, an expert with Football Insider, Pete O’Rourke said The Gunners will not push the panic button and they have no plan to offload him.
O’Rourke asserted: “Arsenal will not entertain the idea of letting Eberechi Eze leave under any circumstances this summer.
“Mikel Arteta still has big plans for the attacking midfielder at Emirates Stadium, and the player himself also feels he still has a key role to play within The Gunners’ squad.”
