The stunning performance by Club Brugge midfielder, Raphael Onyedika and his teammates in Wednesday’s UEFA Champions League clash with Atletico Madrid of Spain has earned his side applause from the opposing coach.
Sports247 reports that Onyedika scored one of the goals and got two assists in his side’s come-from-behind 3-3 draw with their visitors from Madrid, much to the amazement of Atletico’s gaffer, Diego Simeone.

Onyedika’s Nigerian compatriot, Ademola Lookman scored one and got an assist for Atletico, as they dragged themselves all the way to shared points in Brugge, and Simeone acknowledged that it was always bound to be a tough game.
Lookman’s coach conceded, “The match was what we expected. We knew it wouldn’t be an easy game. Possibly the toughest opponent in the Champions League.
“Very young. They play well, they’re a dynamic team that plays well. We knew we weren’t going to have an easy time. We made mistakes at 3-3.”
