Former AC Milan and Inter Milan defender Taribo West has predicted that the Super Eagles of Nigeria will go all the way to the semi-final of the forthcoming AFCON in Egypt next month.
Nigeria will be in group B alongside Guinea, Burundi and Madagascar, and many are hoping that they will do well at the mundial.
In a chat with Sports247, West, formerly of both Milan clubs in Italy, Inter and AC, also added that there will be lots of surprises at the AFCON this year
“This AFCON there will be a lot of surprises because many debutants will be looking to make a name, having qualified for the first time”
There will be a lot of shockers in the different groups, but I strongly believe we will get to the semis or the final”.
