A former captain and ex-head coach of the Super Eagles, Sunday Ogorchukwu Oliseh has sarcastically suggested that foreign administrators should be employed to take over the operations of Nigeria Football Federation (NFF).
Sports247 reports that Oliseh came up with the suggestion in a cynical reaction to the NFF’s continued backing of Franco-Malian tactician, Eric Sekou Chelle as the Eagles’ helmsman.

Oliseh took a look at the recent run of poor results that have bedevilled the Eagles and reckoned that Chelle should be sacked as a first step towards solving the current spate of problems rocking the Nigerian national team.
“I am a fanatical fan of the Nigerian brand, and I am totally in disagreement with foreigners running our national team. Any Nigerian who says otherwise should give back our country’s passport.
“The reality and the fact is that we should not accept that any other race is better than us when it comes to managing our own affairs,” Oliseh affirmed.
The former defensive midfielder, who featured for top teams like Ajax Amsterdam of Netherlands, Juventus of Italy and Borussia Dortmund of Germany during his heyday, stressed that anyone who insists on an expatriate tactician for the Eagles should also advocate for foreign administrators to be in charge of the NFF.
Oliseh posited with sarcasm: “If we are going to keep Chelle as the coach of our national team, the next step for the government to do is bring up foreign administrators as well.
“Let’s take it one step higher. At this point, we feel they are killing the trade of Nigerian coaches. So, let’s also kill the trade of the administrators. Maybe that would bring a solution.”
