Dayo Israel Applauds Special Eagles’ Triumph and World Cup Qualification

Honourable Dayo Israel, the National Youth Leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC), has commended the Nigerian Amputee Football National Team, the Special Eagles, for their remarkable achievement in reaching the semi-finals of the ongoing African Amputee Football Cup of Nations in Cairo, Egypt.

The Special Eagles secured their spot with a 2-1 victory over Liberia, also earning a ticket to the World Cup.

In his congratulatory message, Israel lauded the team for exemplifying the spirit of resilience and determination.

“We must sing praises of this team knowing fully well that they are proving a point that there is ability in disability,” Israel stated. “They are out there making the name of this country very proud.”

Dayo Israel emphasized the significance of the team’s success and called for continued support and encouragement. “We are happy for their achievement and we know that with what we have seen, this team deserves our support,” he said.

“As the leader of the youth, I see the usefulness of those representing us. They are really representing us well.”

“It is good for us to keep encouraging others to know that if you are there and you are doing something positive with the name of this country, you will surely reap the fruit of your labour and hard work,” he added.
